Privacy Policy

This policy explains how PicPop handles information when you use PicPop.

Information we process

• Your account identifier, email and sign-in session to manage your account, plus your display name when provided by Google sign-in. Email/password authentication is processed by Supabase; passwords are not sent to Gemini or stored in PicPop's creation history.
• Photos you choose, editing instructions, generated results and creation history to provide AI photoshoots and edits.
• Purchase receipts, subscription status and credit transactions to deliver and restore Google Play purchases. Google Play handles payment details; PicPop does not collect your card number.
• Approximate country from your IP, SIM country or device region to select templates. We do not request GPS location, phone numbers or SIM identifiers.
• Basic feature events, generation status, duration, model usage and feedback to operate and improve the app. Feature events do not contain your photos or editing instructions.

Photos and AI processing

When you tap Generate, selected photos and instructions are sent through our server to Google's Gemini API. A template style reference may also be included when enabled. We do not upload your entire photo library. Photos may contain faces; we use the selected images for your requested edit, not to identify people outside that request.

Service providers

Google provides sign-in, AI processing and Google Play purchases. Supabase provides authentication, our database and private result storage. Vercel hosts our API and these pages. These providers process data according to their applicable terms and may process it outside your country. See Google's privacy policy and Gemini API terms.

Storage and retention

Our generation endpoint processes source photos without saving them as permanent source-photo objects in cloud storage. Results and creation records remain in your account until you delete them or your account. Selected source photos and drafts may remain on your device while you use the app. We retain limited operational, security and purchase records as needed to operate the service, prevent duplicate or fraudulent grants and meet applicable obligations. Provider logs and backups follow the providers' retention arrangements; deleting an in-app result does not instantly erase every provider backup.

Your choices

You can delete creations from My creations, sign out, or permanently delete your account in Settings. See Account and data deletion for a request option outside the app. Removing the app alone does not delete cloud data or cancel subscriptions.

Security and age

Cloud results use private storage and temporary access links. No system is completely secure. PicPop is for adults aged 18 or older. Only upload photos you have permission to use, including appropriate permission for photos of other people.
